I am a self taught artist, born in Cornwall and still living in Flushing, I have always been creative and started painting from a very young age.
My best friend at the time her father was a well know artist and taught at the Falmouth school of Art and he always encourage us to paint and draw and that’s where my love of art came from.
I mainly paint in oils but occasionally use other medias, I am influenced by the Cornish coast and landscapes and Cornish ways of life, my family are fisherman and enjoy painting fishing and working boats.
I do a lot of photography and walking the coastal paths this is where i get a lot of my inspiration from. Every one of my paintings as a story to tell !!
I also belong to the Falmouth arts society and exhibit in the annual exhibition.
